Thailand, Singapore, the USA, river cruises and regular journeys between Spain and England are just some of the trips Alex and her husband have enjoyed with the help of their eFOLDi scooters, affectionately known as Mobi (a Lite) and Scoot (a Compass).
Their travels have taken them on planes, trains, boats, cable cars, coach trips and even the narrow tourist trains found in many holiday destinations. Along the way, their scooters have tackled cobbles, grass, gravel, and some unexpectedly steep inclines.
Alex uses the eFOLDi Compass, while her husband uses the eFOLDi Lite. Having a scooter that suits their individual needs means they can continue travelling and exploring together.
Alex recalls one particularly memorable trip took them to Las Fallas in Valencia, where they covered around 10km in the morning and the same again in the evening. They have also visited Cuenca, where the steep streets and inclines put the scooters through their paces.
For Alex and her husband, having the Lite and Compass is about far more than practical mobility: “My husband and I have travelled to Thailand, Singapore, the USA and on three river cruises with the help of our eFOLDi scooters. Along the way, they’ve been on planes, trains, boats, cable cars and even little tourist trains. Our Lite and Compass have been a godsend, giving us the freedom to keep travelling together.”
